Privacy Policy

Share the Struggle is an initiative of Taming Mustangs, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ("Share the Struggle," "we," "us," or "our"). We care about the people we serve, and that includes caring about your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use sharethestruggle.org, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us
We collect information you provide directly, such as when you sign up for coaching or a course, create an account, join a mailing list, fill out a form, request a demo, make a donation, or contact us. This can include your name, email address, phone number, church or organization, payment details, and anything you choose to share in a message or coaching context.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit the site, we and our service providers may collect standard technical information such as your device type, browser, approximate location derived from your IP address, pages viewed, and how you arrived at and moved through the site. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described below.
Cookies and analytics
A cookie is a small file stored on your device. We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working and, with your consent, to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure site traffic and engagement. Analytics cookies are turned off by default. The first time you visit, a banner asks for your choice, and Google Analytics only sets analytics cookies and collects usage data after you click Accept. We use Google Consent Mode, and we have enabled IP anonymization. If you decline, analytics stays off.

How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited ways:
- Service providers who help us operate — for example our website host, analytics provider (Google), customer and email platform, and payment processor. They may only use your information to perform services for us.
- Legal reasons — if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Share the Struggle, our users, or others.
- Business changes — in connection with a merger, transfer, or reorganization of the nonprofit, consistent with this policy.
Your choices and rights
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or limit certain processing. Residents of California (under the CCPA/CPRA) and visitors from the EU/UK (under the GDPR) have specific rights, including the right not to have personal information sold — which we do not do. To make a request, contact us at the email below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Data retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
International visitors
We are based in the United States, and your information is processed here. If you visit from another country, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Links to other sites
Our site and content may link to third-party sites and services we do not control. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide a more prominent notice.
