Our Foundation

What we believe.

Share the Struggle is a faith-based discipleship coaching ministry. Everything we do flows from a specific theological foundation. These are not background beliefs — they are the reason our methodology works the way it does.

Scripture

2 Timothy 3:16–17

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God — the final authority for faith and practice. All coaching, content, and methodology at Share the Struggle is rooted in and accountable to Scripture.

God

Matthew 28:19

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all things, sovereign over all things, and the source of all healing and transformation.

Jesus Christ

John 14:6

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the atoning sacrifice for our sin, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended into heaven. He is the only way to the Father.

The Holy Spirit

John 16:13

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, convicts of sin, produces fruit in the life of the faithful, and empowers the Church. Transformation at the level this work requires is a Spirit-led process — not merely a psychological one.

Humanity & Sin

Romans 3:23

We believe all people are made in the image of God and are of immeasurable worth. We also believe that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Our struggles are not simply bad habits or trauma responses — they are part of the larger story of a world in need of redemption.

Salvation

Ephesians 2:8–9

We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is not earned by effort or behavior — including coaching. We help people move and grow, but transformation is always God's work, not ours.

The Church

Hebrews 10:25

We believe the local church is central to God's plan for the world. Share the Struggle exists to resource the Church — not replace it. Coaching is not a substitute for community, discipleship, or accountability within a local body of believers.

Marriage & Family

Genesis 2:24

We believe marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God as a picture of Christ and the Church. We believe family is the foundational building block of healthy society and that strengthening families strengthens communities.

Human Dignity

Genesis 1:27

We believe every person is made in the image of God and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. This is why we take confidentiality seriously, why we refuse to shame people in their struggle, and why we believe no one is beyond reach.
